Start a new product identification and select (or enter) your model to reach two stars. This will provide information for your model.

Start a new product identification and enter your serial number to reach three stars. This will provide information unique to your product.

F11 does not start restore proces via Backup Partition

Situation

On systems with a Backup Partition the restore process can be started by pressing <F11> during boot. However, sometimes nothing happens when this key is pressed.

Details

The BIOS is correctly configured but the restore process just can not be started.

Solution

To solve this issue you should use the Recovery Bootdisk (P/N 6945490100) to create a bootdisk or boot CD that will help to reinitialize the Backup Partition.
